Matt Brooks is an Archaeologist and Built Heritage Consultant. He specialises in contributing to Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, Environmental Statement chapters, and Desk-Based Assessments for a wide range of planning and development projects.

Matt

Matt integrates his archaeological expertise with advanced technical skills, including GIS analysis, spatial data interpretation, digital map production, and innovative digital tools, to deliver precise, data-driven heritage assessments. He has previous experience delivering heritage input on projects across England, Scotland and Ireland.

His career has included roles at the Museum of London and in the Archaeology Departments of Oxford and Cambridge Universities, working as an Archaeological Researcher and Consultant. Currently, he is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (ACIfA) and has contributed to numerous academic and professional publications.
